Module 1 - Understanding & Applying Effective Invisalign® Protocols
including G4 changes

Moving teeth with sequential plastic aligners is fundamentally different to moving them with fixed appliances. Understanding the differences enables you to more confidently predict what will work and what won’t.

Module 2 - Attachments explained:
Which ones ? Where ? How many ? What shape ? New generation G4 attachments,
Why ? What impact upon movements and predictability are claimed ?

Why do you need to place attachments ? How many are necessary ? What shape should they be and where do I place them on the teeth ? The new generation attachments are explained and why the movements are allegedly more predictable and accelerated.

Module 3 - Digital Impressions

The introduction of scanning technology to produce an ideal virtual impression is now available. In this lecture the scanning process using the iTero scanner from Cadent will be described from image procurement through to treatment planning.

Module 4 - Which movements are easy and which ones are difficult
a degree of difficulty classification

We examine in greater detail the movements necessary to correct misalignment. Which movements will happen readily and which ones are less likely to be accomplished ? This lecture helps you make that assessment so that you are better equipped to know if this Invisalign® treatment is within your capabilities !

Module 5 - Invisalign® Extraction Treatments

5 important tips to help you succeed in extraction treatments. It is unrealistic to imagine a brief lecture can give you profound orthodontic diagnostic acumen but we will discuss when and why to   extract, the likely outcomes and how to avoid or at least mitigate the pitfalls.

Module 6 - Invisalign® Class II strategies incl. sagittal changes & A-P movements
How much distalisation is feasible with Invisalign® ? The use of elastics.

What’s the differential diagnosis of the various Class II types and how do we tailor our treatment to the different subgroups? This lecture examines each and discusses the prognosis and some of the disadvantages and problems encountered with each approach. Case reports will embellish the points.

Module 7 - Class III's

What’s the differential diagnosis of the various Class III problems and what are the approaches we can take in treating these Class III treatments ? This lecture examines each and discusses the prognosis and some of the problems encountered with each approach. Case report(s) will illustrate some of the approaches.

Module 8 - Extrusion is not working ! A rescue plan

What do we do when our aligners are just not tracking ? Together we examine our options.

Module 9 - Retention

There are lots of approaches, all with advantages and disadvantages but one very simple way of fabricating and placing fixed bonded lingual retainers will be demonstrated.

Module 10 - New Marketing strategies

Internal marketing can be very effective to find more Invisalign patients to treat but this discussion also examines how to use the modern media to access large cohorts of patients.

Module 11 - Lite? Lite with a refinement or Full? Teen? Which one?

It’s up to you but I’ll tell you why I use one or the other in different situations and why.

Module 12 - Tips, Q & A and discussion

W e’ve gathered together some of the tips we have picked up along the way, either by working it out for ourselves, or gleaned from others. At this point we want each of you to share with us one thing new that you learned during the day.
