CEREC Connect, a web-based portal which connects CEREC users with SCDL, ensures a highly efficient and streamlined workflow between clinician and laboratory, meaning your resultant restorations are delivered quicker than ever before.
Here is a general illustration of the efficient CEREC Connect in-house digital workflow at SCDL:
Dentists preps, applies OptiSpray & scans teeth
Dentist views instant real-time 3D articulation on-screen
When scanning is finished, review model in occlusion with patient and, if desired, trim and mark margins with the Automatic Margin Finder
Transmit case wirelessly to SCDL with digital order form via CEREC Connect Portal
An expert at SCDL can advise dentist further with scanning tips, material suggestions, etc.
SCDL receives the digital impression & imports into CAD software to design a model and/or restoration.
The final restoration is fabricated by SCDL either wholly digitally (fully milled) or as a hybrid case (coping is milled and crown is built up & finished by hand)
Restoration is sent back to dentist for insertion, with very little chairside adjustment (if any) required
