Sending Work To Us

We suggest the following methods to send work to us

Business Response Labels

Please phone our office and we will send you our pre-addressed labels to attach to your parcel. This will ensure delivery to us next day (in 95% of cases) by first class mail. Please post your parcel at your local Post Office. This service is free of charge.

Freepost

Simply write this address on your parcel and post at your local Post Office. This will ensure your parcel is delivered by first class mail (in most instances) next day. This service is free of charge.

Impressions Only

Wherever possible please send silicone or rubber impressions. Please leave it to us to pour the models. Alginates need to be poured where possible.

Please DO NOT put laboratory order forms in with the wet impressions as we need to read your instructions accurately without water contamination.

Order Forms

Provided by SCDL with an original and two duplicates, or can be downloaded from our website at www.scdlab.com. Please include as much detail as possible about each case. Always include the shade, tooth number and type of restoration or prosthesis you require. If you require more order forms please call our office (or use your letterhead as an alternative). Your phone and fax numbers are important: Please include on your order form.

Courier Back To You

All cases are returned to your practice by private courier to ensure reliability. This service is also provided free of charge.

Finishing Dates

Please allow 8 working days or 11 working days for Implant and Procera between impression taking and insertion appointment (except in remote areas where delivery may take a few days longer). We find that this completely alleviates any stress to dentist, patient and laboratory.

Terms Of Payment

Accounts will be sent to you on a monthly basis. Accounts are to be paid within 30 days of receiving your statement. Payment can be made by Credit Card (over the phone or providing us with details), or by cheque.

No Blame, No Cost Redos!

Regardless of the level of competence or experience of the operator, some cases require being remade. Problems with preparation or impression technique tend to make up the majority of these cases and it is our policy that ALL redos are made free of charge, regardless of blame.

We are so confident in the quality of our products and workmanship, all crown and bridge cases are guaranteed for 5 years. A written guarantee is enclosed with each case upon return to you.
